AFMU Client Hosting Problems

We are in the process of collecting information that may assist AFMU Client Complaints. Some of the AFMU Complaints that we have seen on the web, or heard from clients who have called us, range from the obvious, "... my AFMU hosted website has been down for days..." to "... AFMU will not Un-Lock my Domain Name so that I can Transfer my website to Hudacko Enterprises or anyone else's hosting ...".
AFMU Hosting Problems
While we do not have lots of information to share as yet, we can offer at least this one suggestion:
- Create a FREE account at Hudacko Enterprises (use the My Account link in the left column)
- Make sure you have a physical backup of your website and relevant data from your existing AFMU website
- Initiate a Domain Name Transfer to bring your Domain Name from AFMU to Hudacko Enterprises Yes, this will cost you a few dollars to extend the Domain Name Registration period, but for as little as $3.99 for an additional year it's not that bad.
- Once your Domain Name Transfer is Complete, set up your website and enjoy our web hosting service and customer support
AFMU Complaints
We have received several AFMU Complaints directed to our eMail and telephone services by frustrated AFMU Clients.
One thing we have discovered as we investigated these requests to Transfer Domains away from AFMU was that AFMU is NOT a Domain Name Registrar. The biggest issue with that fact is that AFMU does not allow the "registered owner" of the Domain Name (you) to have access to the Domain Name details which would allow you to unlock your Domain Name for Transfer. We have spoken with our Transfer Concierge in Arizona and they have given us several steps to follow to resolve this problem.
